Cobourg Cartage changes name to National Shunt Services Limited and is incorporated.

Cobourg Cartage changes its name to National Shunt Services Limited and becomes incorporated. NSSL moves from a regional to a national solution.

2005

NSSL adds supplemental services (Trailer Rentals, Warehousing, Broker Services)

2008

First version of Shuntware launched.

The first version of Shuntware is launched.

2011

Shuntware v2 launches.

Shuntware V2 launches. Temperature control was added. The first large-scale, multi-site implementation occurs. We weren’t just checking in/checking out trailers. Customer-relevant reference fields such as purchase orders were added. NSSL is working with the HBC transportation manager who was overseeing multiple locations. He wanted to see multiple locations in one view (still multiple sessions required) for comparison.

Gatehouse security services added.

NSSL averages over 100,000 moves per month.

Formalized quality management program called SEE ME

A formalized quality management program called SEE ME is implemented to standardize and improve driver safety checks.

Shuntware v3.

Shuntware V3. The platform features better stability and is now cloud-based/cloud-hosted. V2 stored data on a server that NSSL maintained, and is now using virtual machines. The software becomes more intuitive. User capabilities were added. Multiple layers of security for user access become availlable. Multiple yards on one screen (only one session required) are launched as a feature.

Launched SeeMe Safety & Quality Program.

SeeMe (Safe. Efficient. Execution. Maintaining. Excellence.) program is launched.

Implements formalized Account Management program

NSSL mplements formalized Account Management program and customer satisfaction surveys to measure performance.
