Position Description:

• Movement of freight using dry van, flatbed, and reefer trailers
• Adhere to load security regulations (company rules and ministry legislation)
• Properly complete driver documentation as per company, client and ministry requirements
• Adhere to company SOPs
• Daily inspection of truck
• Maintain routine communication with dispatch and yard control
• Utilize our proprietary software to receive and complete moves on an as needed basis
• Monitor truck condition and communicate with regional manager when repair(s) required
• Maintain a clean and tidy workplace
• Inspect trailers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Valid AZ license
• Clean driving abstract and CVOR
• Relevant experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Limited hand bombing required
• Experience with computer software and programs
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Customer service skills
• Believe that “the safe way is the right way”
• Willing to work hard
